The Pro Bono Training Institute’s goal is to provide an easy to use online training experience. However, sometimes technical glitches do arise, and PBTI’s staff hopes this page will provide you with some general PBTI FAQs that will hopefully provide some quick fixes.

If problems persist, or are not located on this page, please feel free to email Patrick Fodell at

Where can I find my MCLE certificate? You can find your MCLE certificate in your user profile located in the upper right hand corner.

What happens if the MCLE Certificate is not located in my user profile? Ensure that you have watched the video and fully submitted and taken your quiz. The certificate will only be generated once you have completed the course’s quiz.

Can you offer CLE for states outside of California? PBTI is only able to offer California Self-Study CLE credit.

Is the CLE Participatory of Self-Study? All CLE on PBTI is self-study CLE.

Can my office do a groupcast of a video so everyone can receive CLE at the same time? Due to short staffing, PBTI does not coordinate groupcasts. Additionally, CLE is generated on an individual basis and therefore each individual trainee must watch the video on their own account in order to receive CLE.
